and<br \/>erosive forms.<br \/>The twenty million years of erosion that have passed from the beginning of its volcanic formation, have exposed treasures difficult to find at first sight in nature.<\/p><p>Cueva del Llano (Cave of the Plain), a million-year-old, 650-metre-long tube of lava,<br \/>seams to have been formed as a result of the eruption of the volcano of the famous<br \/>mountain Escanfraga, the highest volcanic cone on Fuerteventura.<br \/>But its high geological value is not the only thing that the cave has to offer. It is also a<br \/>paleontological site with a huge amount of fossilised bone remains. And it is also home<br \/>to very special fauna, such as the small blind spider Maiorerus randoi, unique in the world.
